The San Diego Mesa College Art Gallery opened its doors to host the first Summer Art
Gallery exhibit, POSTMARK, SAN DIEGO. The art exhibit is free of admission and will
be open from July 19th through August 3rd, 2018. On Thursday, July 19th from 5:00pm
to 8:00pm, the Gallery offered an opening reception that took place at the campus
Art Gallery D101 and the Courtyard. POSTMARK, SAN DIEGO is a collection of 29 postcards
representing the beautiful city of San Diego. Each artist created, mailed and recreated
the postcards into Artist Books.The exhibit is open to all ages, with the purpose
to create a conversation between the artist and the audience. The event is a collaboration
between the San Diego Mesa College Art Gallery and the nonprofit organization, San
Diego Book Arts. The summer exhibit is being tested out with special hours starting
Tuesday and Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and on Thursday from 11:00 am to 8:00
pm. To view the gallery at a different hour than those listed, Professor Alessandra
