San Diego, CA. — Tomorrow, on Wednesday, October 18 at 12:00 p.m., Mesa College will be hosting their Spirit Week Pep Rally on campus to celebrate the success of the Athletics program with the 4th win of the Devore Trophy, and upcoming contests, culminating in the 2023 Homecoming Football Game on Saturday, Oct 21.

On Wednesday, September 25, San Diego Mesa College Athletics has been awarded the DeVore Trophy for the 2018-19 calendar year. The DeVore Award is presented each year to a Pacific Coast Athletics Conference (PCAC) member college with the most successful men’s and women’s intercollegiate athletic program for the academic year. Mesa College finished 2018-19 with a total of 217 total points overall. The last time Mesa won the DeVore Trophy was in 2011-12.

Track and field athletes at San Diego Mesa College have had a successful season thus far with the men’s team winning the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference with a high score of 341 points and the women’s team taking second place.
