    San Diego Mesa College’s Fall 2018 STEM Lecture Series returns with Campus Astronomy Night on Monday, September 10, 2018, from 7:30-9:30pm. Join us for a tour of the night sky, see several planets and stars, and hear from our very own Dr. Irena Stojimirovic as she leads a discussion of new findings that Mars may have once hosted life.

  • Mesa STEM Lecture Series Featured Animal Conservation Organization Wild Wonders

    On Thursday, Oct 26, San Diego Mesa College hosted a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Lecture with Wild Wonders Managing Director and Programs Manager Kimberly Wright. Accompanying Kim were organization volunteers, and some of their “furry, feathered, four-legged, and no-legged” animal ambassadors such as Frodo the Fennec Fox, Archie the Great Horned Owl, Holly Jolly the Hairy Armadillo, Brownie the Boa Constrictor, Kima the Kinkajou, and Dolce the American Alligator.

  • STEM Lecture Series Brings Exciting Research, Information to Mesa

    San Diego Mesa College’s School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences’ welcomes students, staff, faculty and the community to attend the STEM lecture series this fall semester.

    Originally created as a Physical Sciences Lecture series in 2014, the wider categorization of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics allows for a greater range of subjects to be featured during the lecture series.
