K. Lee Steidel Wins 2021 Advancing Real Estate Education Award

The California Community Colleges Real Estate Education Center is delighted to present
the 2021 Advancing Real Estate Education Award to K. Lee Steidel.
With over fifteen years of community college teaching experience, Lee has served as
an adjunct faculty member at Mesa College, San Diego City College and Fullerton College.
While an adjunct faculty, Lee has advanced program development initiatives typically
reserved for contract faculty. These projects have included implementing, evaluating,
and achieving departmental goals as Program Review Lead Writer; chairing Real Estate
Advisory Committees; expanding and revising curriculum; developing course outlines
of record; presenting faculty training educational technology workshops; launching
Real Estate Career Expos and curating real estate jobs boards by industry sector to
connect students with real estate internships and employers.
Lee has over 25 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate valuation,
property management and real estate investments. She has been a speaker at the USD
Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate and a featured guest on the Los Angeles KNX
1070 Money 101 Show.
The Award Committee is proud to recognize Lee's efforts in building successful real
estate career education programs for students at our California Community Colleges.
