San Diego Mesa College to Host Nike US Sport Camp Softball Camp this summer, July 22-25

Girls from 6-14 are invited to participate July 22-25

San Diego –On Monday, July 22 to Thursday, July 25, 2024, the San Diego Mesa College Softball program and Nike’s US Sports Camp program will host a half day and day camp for local girls, ages 6-14, at all levels of experience with Softball. Campers will learn the skills required to successfully play at a competitive level and maximize their potential as players.

 

  • Date: July 22-25, 2024
  • Age Group: 6-14
  • Camp Type: Half Day Camp (Ages 6-8) & Day Camp (Ages 8-14)
  • Half Day Camp Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • Day Camp Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Half Day Camp Fee: $325.00
  • Day Camp Fee: $425.00
  • Fee includes softball instruction, Nike Softball Camp T-Shirt, Cinch Sack, Wristband, and Sticker. Lunch and snacks are not included.

 

Campers will be split into groups based on their ability level and age with a 1:10 instructor to camper ratio, to give all attendees the opportunity to learn. Director Nicole Dall, Mesa Softball Head Coach Jaclyn Guidi, and Assistant Coach Andrea Wright will teach hitting, fielding, base-running drills, position-specific drills, team plays, and game situational play. They will also explain what it takes to be mentally strong on the diamond.
