The Healthcare Technology Report is pleased to announce The Top 25 Healthcare Technology CTOs of 2022. Aviva McPherron serves as Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of IT for NuVasive. NuVasive is committed to transforming surgery, advancing care, and changing lives through less invasive, procedurally integrated solutions. Since its inception in 1999, NuVasive has continually outperformed the market as the largest spine-focused company in the world. With more than $1 billion in revenues, NuVasive has approximately 2,600 employees and operates in more than 50 countries serving surgeons, hospitals, and patients.

 

McPherron started at NuVasive in 2011 as Senior Director of Business Solutions. She also currently serves as a board member for the San Diego Mesa College Foundation, Inc. Previously, she was Director of Operations for Tapestry Solutions Inc. (a Boeing Company), and before that, Senior Project Manager for College Loan Corp. She got her start as a software consultant for Trilogy in 1998. McPherron earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Stanford University.
