Pride Scholars Learning Cohort
The Pride Scholars Learning Cohort (PSLC) is an academic community taught through a queer lens. Students are enrolled in the same group throughout different courses in their first year, allowing them to create safe spaces to explore their academic and personal goals. As a cohort, we discuss overlapping themes and topics and enjoy fun activities designed to strengthen our learning.
PSLC students take the following classes:
Fall Semester:
PERG 120: College Success & Lifelong Learning
ENGL C1000: Academic Reading and Writing
Spring Semester:
ENGL C1001: Critical Thinking and Writing
During the spring semester, PLSC students will participate in college-readiness-related events to prepare them for their academic and career goals.
