Assessment & Testing

Assessment helps students identify the right starting English and math courses by determining their milestones (or placement levels).

AVANZA, CRUISE, & Peer Navigators

San Diego Mesa College Peer Navigator Program is designed to guide and mentor new students through their first year of college.


CalWORKs is a state funded public assistance program that helps low-income parents achieve their academic goals, find meaningful employment, and create new opportunities for themselves, their children, and the community.

Mesa College Counselors are available to meet with you in a variety of ways to help you achieve your academic, career, and personal goals.


DSPS offers students access to reasonable disability related accommodations (per Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act), which extend beyond those regularly offered by the college.

EOPS & Special Programs

EOPS aims to enhance student retention and ensure an education without barriers by providing extensive academic support, counseling, and various other beneficial services.
