Health Information Management Program

Ready to get your bachelor’s degree and take a step toward a career in health information management? Mesa College’s Health Information Management Bachelor’s Degree program will help you operate the technological systems that are used to record and store patients’ medical records. You will learn the standards of ethics needed to protect against the inappropriate accessing of private medical files and create an environment where your patients can feel safe sharing their sensitive information. Reaping the benefits of an education that goes beyond the traditional classroom setting, you will also have the opportunity to partake in hands-on learning in clinically-based work experience courses (upon a successful background check) and see first-hand how your practice using healthcare information systems can promote efficiency in hospitals, clinics, or health agencies and prepare you for your career in health information management.
