Purpose
The Conference and Travel Committee's (CAT) primary function is to review and award funds for conference and travel requests from classified professionals, faculty and administrators.

Reports to: Campus Employee Development (CEL)
Meets: The Conference and Travel Committee meets on the third Thursday of each month, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm in the LOFT (4the floor LRC)
Goals
- Encourage and make accessible funds for conference travel.
- Identify and rectify obstacles that inhibit conference participation.

Additional Information
Request for Conference and Travel Funds are processed by the Conference and Travel Committee. All applications must be submitted at least six weeks prior to the conference and travel. Due to limited funding, applicants may bear some fo the costs of the conference and travel. Funding is not approved for tuition for classes or relaxation retreats. Faculty applicants should FIRST use their allocated departmental funds.
