SAN DIEGO MESA COLLEGE EMBRACES ACCREDITATION
San Diego Mesa College's accreditation has been reaffirmed!
Accreditation is a thorough process that evaluates and certifies the quality of education, ensuring that an educational institution meets or surpasses recognized standards of good practice within the educational community. It guarantees students and the public that college course credits, associate degrees, and occupational certificates will be accepted by other colleges and universities, allowing for the transfer of academic work toward advanced degrees. San Diego Mesa College has embraced self-reflective quality improvement since its first accreditation visit in 1966 and we continue to learn and grow as a result.
San Diego Mesa College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
