Occupational Hygiene & Safety
Occupational hygiene & safety division coordinates programs from agencies such as; CAL-OSHA, EPA, state Fire Marshall as well as others. These programs deal with the evaluating, controlling, or eliminating both health and safety hazards in the workplace.
Overview
As part of OSH responsibilities to the campus, the OEHS Coordinator will provide the following services:
- Perform audits covering various occupational exposures. The audit process includes a hazard assessment, followed by a review of policies and training related to identified hazards.
- Conduct investigations of employee and student incidents.
- Assit in the review and design of engineering controls.
