Professional Advancement Committee
A. Composition:

The Committee shall consist of a chair, nominated by the faculty on the committee and ratified by the Senate Executive Committee, and other faculty members appointed by the Committee on Committees and selected on the basis of particular abilities, and representing a variety of departments.

B. Duties:

The duties of the Professional Advancement Committee shall be as follows:

  1. Review applications for sabbatical leaves for faculty and make recommendations for approval
  2. Review sabbatical reports from faculty and recommend acceptance.
  3. Review professional advancement proposals and professional advancement completions for faculty and make recommendations for approval.
