Local Black Women Poets' Tribute to Black Women Authors & Poets

Professor Paula Johnson's Black Women in Literature and the Media class will host a tribute to Black women authors and poets by having local Black women poets read some of their favorite works. The local poets will join the class froom 7:30 - 9:00 pm, via zoom. So, this special presentation will encumber an hour and a half of the regular class time. The theme of this year's tribute will be the audacity of resistance and resilience. A short period of questions and answers will follow. Participants must register to attend the Zoom.
