Mesa Library Banned Books Week Event

September 23rd, 2024, marks the beginning of this year's National Banned Books Week. At Mesa College Library, we plan an in-person panel discussion on campus on Tuesday, September 24th, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.

 The theme for this year’s Banned Books Week is "Freed Between the Lines." As a community, we can find freedom in the pages of a book, but book bans and censorship threaten that freedom, along with many other rights and institutions.

 Join us as we discuss the use of banned books and intellectual freedom.
