A riveting multi-media lecture and discussion on Afrofuturism. Lecture will center on what Afrofuturism is, and how it serves as a strategy of forward movement for Black people. Event will include film clips and an interactive conversation about the future students imagine, and the steps they can take today to make the future a reality. Dr. LaWanna Richmond will present.
