Dec. 6th 6-7:30 pm via Zoom Observing solar eclipses with high altitude ballooning Join Dr. Kendra Sibbernsen, Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, Nebraska for a discussion of high altitude ballooning (HAB) and solar eclipses! She will share her balloon-based observations from the total solar eclipse in 2017, last month’s annular eclipse, as well as her team's plans for the total eclipse coming up in April 2024.
