Juneteenth Celebration Live at SDSU
Hosted by SDSU, Mesa College Black Studies Dept., Mesa College Committee for Diversity Action, Inclusion & Equity and the S.D. Chapter of the Association of Black Psychologists
This live event is the 2nd annual Juneteenth Celebration at SDSU and will begin with an Emotional Emancipation Healing Circle in the morning (9 - 11 am) facilitated by Dr. Judy Sundayo and Dr. Thekima Mayasa of Mesa College. Dancers, drummers and other performers will join in the celebration live outside SDSU's Aztec Student Union (11 am - 2 pm). Enjoy the African Drum call at noon and the many food and craft vendors who will be preset to add to the festivities! This event is free and open to the community.
