Festival of Colors - Cultural Unity Week

Festival of Colors is an annual event at Mesa College celebrating different cultures through music, art, dance, drama, poetry and storytelling.

Performers from the local community join Mesa College students, faculty and professional staff to share their cultural expressions for a day of learning, appreciation and exhilaration.

Please join in on the fun Thursday, April 20th, 10 am - 3 pm on the San Diego Mesa College Quad.

10 am - African Drum and Dance Performance

10:30 am - Mesa Leadership Welcome

10:30 am - Mesa Art, Dance, Drama, Poetry Student Performances

11:30 am - Storytelling and Poetry with Alyce Smith-Cooper

12 pm - 3 pm - Varius Community Performance Groups, including Belly Dance, Danza Azteca, Dragon Dance, and Ballet Folklorico
