Rosa Parks Birthday Recognition & Libation

Join Mesa College students, faculty, and staff as well as community members in paying tribute to this beloved and iconic activist for Civil Rights. This virtual event will include a libation, a traditional African ritual in honor of the ancestors, videos and images from past events, student tributes, Rosa Park stories and poetry, as we all remember how Mrs. Parks honored our campus with her presence and how we continue to honor her each year at the time of her birth.
