Student Health Services cares deeply about the health and welfare of our campus community.  Therefore, we are asking you and your students to attend this 1 hour seminar on how to prevent a “Twindemic” with Influenza and COVID-19.
1. Dr. Calvin Wong MD, Student Health Medical Director will review the modes of transmission for the SARS-CoV-2 virus from the CDC.  This includes the new airborne transmission route.  He will also cover prevention of viral spread.  Dr. Wong will also talk about the safety and effectiveness of the flu vaccine this year.

2. Nancy Bromma FNP will present “Flu Facts” to help everyone understand how a “Twindemic” will impact our healthcare systems and must be avoided.

3. Renee’ Dean RN will discuss why flu vaccination is so important this year, when to get a flu shot and where to get free flu shots for you and your family.

4. Suzanne Khambata FNP will present current information on the current status of the COVID-19 vaccination program.
