October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and SDCCD’s SPEAK program is hosting a workshop to bring awareness to our campaign’s mission. We will be hosting the following workshop on October 27^th from 2:30PM to 3:30PM.

All are welcome!

Students, Staff, Faculty & Administrators. Faculty can earn Flex Credit #5773. Please consider extra credit option to encourage attendance. 

This workshop discusses the fundamentals to healthy relationships and provides an overview of the
power and control wheel. Participants will be provided with scenarios and asked to explain if they
consider the behaviors to be healthy or unhealthy. Students will describe ways in how unhealthy behaviors could be addressed using our CHARM (Communication, Have Fun, Acknowledge and Apologize,
Respect, Make space, take space) model.
