STEM Lecture Series: Campus Astronomy Night

Mesa astronomy professor, Dr. Irena Stojimirovic, will open this event with a discussion of the night sky.  She’ll also briefly summarize new developments in astronomy.  After a short lecture, participants will be invited outside to view celestial objects through telescopes, including the Moon, the Pleiades star cluster, and the Orion Nebula.  Children welcome (accompanied by a parent).
