Unwritten Rules for Career Success: A Guide for College Women
Will meet in LRC 435.
This session will focus on how female students can navigate the unwritten rules and apply research to remain confident in their career aspirations.
Presented by Debra Kimberling: Debra Kimberling, fellow of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), is a speaker and mechanical engineer with over 30 years experience in industry, government and academia. She has a Masters in Aerospace Engineering from University of Washington and a Bachelors in Engineering Science from Arizona State University. She has developed submersibles, rockets, gas turbine engines and taught engineering at Purdue University. An advocate for SWE and the STEM Ecosystem, Debra has presented the Why So Few Women in STEM social research to over 4,000 students, parents and educators.
