STEM Lecture Series: The Particle Universe
Some of the most fascinating phenomena in the Universe involve extraordinarily high energy events in the most extreme environments. In this talk, USD astronomer, Dr. Chad Kishimoto, will discuss how small-scale particle physics explain astrophysical phenomena and how, in turn, studying astrophysics can inform us about fundamental physics in ways we could never probe in the laboratory.
