Scripps climate scientist, Dr. Jeff Severinghaus, will discuss his work with ice cores, which provide unique archives of the past atmosphere and climate as well as the climate impacts of various greenhouse gases. By understanding how climate has behaved in the past, it’s possible to predict how it will change in the future.
