Cycles (Women's History Month)
Lisa Talbot, Professor of Sociology at CSU Fullerton will be hosting a lecture on her performance piece Cycles which encapsulates life and death as it presents itself to me. The light, composition and perspective of the photograph support issues such as life, death, destruction, pollution, alienation, health and psychological disease. Through creating these momento moris, I am able to communicate the fleeting beauty of life.
As part of Women's History Month events, this artist will highlight pieces from her collection of work that address issues life, death, destruction, pollution, alienation, health and psychological. These issues will aid faculty in prep for course content, address issues affecting our students and provide information for course content for faculty who focus on art, psychological uses of art as well as students directly affected by these issues.
