Open MIC: Poets Speak Out

This event is an opportunity for students, faculty, staff and community partners to interface by sharing heart-felt spoken word presentation and poetry having to do with topics of interest to the diverse audience. The speak-out is healing and inspiring to all.

This event will provide a healing venue for students to express themselves via spoken word. When students are heard they are in a better position to succeed. When faculty and staff listen, they can better appreciate their diverse students and can serve them better.
