An Afternoon With Sonia Sanchez

This event will afford participants the opportunity to interact with Sonia Sanchez, the iconic poet, playwright, author, feminist and activist. There will be a short reception for Ms. Sanchez, followed by her presentation/performance and a Q&A session.

This event will educate students, faculty, and staff about how the expressive arts can impact social change. It will help all who attend to appreciate how these art forms can inspire toward success as well as toward effecting positive social change.
