Film: Walk all Night - A Drum Beat Journey

This event will include the showing of an independent film, which chronicles the transformation of 4 Chicago youth as they take a musical pilgrimage to Senegal. The film's producer, Elilta Tewelde, a former Mesa student, will facilitate discussion following the film.

This event will educate students, faculty, and staff about the importance of cultural milestones in the maturation of young African American men. It will help faculty improve awareness and appreciation of these nuances in their African American male students.
