Supporting Men of Color Who Experience Homelessness and Food Insecurities

Mesa Campus

Join us for a workshop presented by Dr. Frank Harris, III and Dr. J. Luke Wood, co-directors of Minority Male Community College Collaborative (M2C3), a national research and practice center of the Community College Equity Assessment Lab (CCEAL) that partners with community colleges to support their capacity in advancing outcomes for men of color.

In this workshop the presenters will guide participants through equity root cause analysis, a collective sense-making process that can be employed by educators to identify salient (or root) causes of equity gaps within institutional units.  By identifying root causes, educators are better-positioned to devise interventions to redress equity gaps and disparities within their departments and units.
