Ensuring Equitable Outcomes for Community College Student-Athletes: An Institutional Responsibility Perspective

Join us for a workshop presented by Dr. Frank Harris, III and Dr. J. Luke Wood, co-directors of Minority Male Community College Collaborative (M2C3), a national research and practice center of the Community College Equity Assessment Lab (CCEAL) that partners with community colleges to support their capacity in advancing outcomes for men of color. 

Men of color comprise a critical mass of community college student-athletes.  Yet outcomes for men of color who compete in community college athletics are typically not on part with those of their female and majority male peers.  In this workshop the presenters will highlight equity gaps in community college athletics.  The presenters will also propose high impact practices to foster student equity in athletics.
