Student Conduct 101
What should you do when a student is disruptive in your classroom? When do you issue a formal written warning or a two day faculty initiated classroom removal? What steps should be taken when a student is cheating on an exam or plagiarizing on an essay? Ever have these questions come up mid-semester? Gain the information now so you can immediately deal with the situation if it comes up in your classroom. Join this session to gain insightful information on how to address the situation and what to do next. We will review the student code of conduct and ways to collaborate with the Office of Student Affairs to ensure our students are learning life- long lessons both in and outside of the classroom.
Members that join will gain knowledge of the SDCCD Student Code of Conduct, Student Discipline Procedures as well as steps to take to initiate academic and behavioral misconduct in the classroom.
