This presentation is part of the San Diego Mesa College Fall 2016 STEM Lecture Series.
Dr. Mary Gwin of the San Diego Mesa College Dept. of Social and Behavioral Sciences will use historical context and examples to assess the relationship between science and philosophy and the role of philosophy in a scientifically informed world.
Science and Philosophy are each involved in one degree or another in every subject taught at Mesa College. Faculty, Staff, and Students will obtain a greater understanding of the roles of these disciplines and their interrelationship in advancing knowledge.
