This presentation is part of the San Diego Mesa College Fall 2016 STEM Lecture Series. 
Dr. Paul Quinton will investigate the pathogenesis of Cystic Fibrosis (Mucoviscidosis) by exploring the importance of bicarbonate in mucus formation. 

Faculty and Staff and students will benefit from hearing research on the origins of diseases, which demonstrates the value of the scientific process for the critical study of human health.
