WHY WE COLLECT...THE 20TH CENTURY

Panel following reception at 6:30 pm
A selection of works featuring different 20th Century styles and movements and an investigation into the nature of art collecting
All of the artworks belong to an educated collector with a median income.
Artists represented include Hans Arp, John Cage, Alexander Calder, Marcel Duchamp, Henri Matisse, Joan Miro and Man Ray among others.
Panel discussion including Debby & Larr Kline and Kraig Cavanaugh.
This dialogue encourages viewers and participants to buy and collect art.
The lecture will focus on the "art" of collecting, even with a limited budget.
