Cultural Competency Series with Dr. Tanis Starck
The Committee for Diversity Action, Inclusion & Equity (CDIAE), with funding from the Student Success & Equity Committee, is pleased to host a 4-Part Series on Cultural Competency with Dr. Tanis Starck, from SDSU’s College of Education.
Training will include understanding bias, prejudice, race, racism, sexism, Micro-aggressions, privilege, culture, diversity and inclusion, including the effects on individuals, groups and institutions; will include self-examination.
For those faculty who wish to obtain FLEX credit for the training, the FLEXID number is 89592.
You must visit the FLEX website to register for the workshop no later than midnight on the day of the workshop.
You will obtain FLEX credit after attending the entire 4-session training.
