In this workshop faculty will explore the following questions and take time to do some group and individual course planning:

• How might you use one such grid to plan your own theme-based  exploration?  Which themes, course texts, habits are important in your 47A classes?

• Brain storm a list of central questions you’ve used to develop prompts, choose course texts and other materials.

• Brainstorm a list of key concepts or habits you want students to have mastered or be on the verge of mastering at the end of 47A.

• Use a blank grid to help you plan your thinking, and see the connections and relationships between course theme, texts, and progressive assignments.
