Join us as we examine the way in which we communicate with people with disabilites. We often have the best of intentions, but may instead be creating barriers that isolate and exlude people with disabilities.
Mesa College counselor Isaac Arguelles will share his remarkable life story and the experiences that led him to become a Disability Support Services Counselor.
We can all learn insights into how we can develop our communication kills to foster a more inclusive capus community at Mesa.
This workshop is part of the COMS 180 - Intercultural Communication curriculum.
Hosted by the Communication Studies Department in collaboration with the Disability Support Programs and Services Department.
