Compassion It! Certificate Training Week 3: Common Humanity

The District Office Professional Development Department is pleased to announce an upcoming four-week Compassion It certificate training beginning in October 2026 at CE Harbor View Campus. 

Join us for this community of practice to help you strengthen self-compassion, mindfulness, connection, and community - skills that elevate well-being, collaboration, and presence.

All four sessions will be led by Sara Schairer, a facilitator, speaker, leadership coach, and founder of Compassion It. With over 13 years of leading compassion-based training,

Schairer has developed this training for educators, community groups, and various organizations worldwide. 

Week 3: Common Humanity

• Build empathy and connection
• Group exercise to foster belonging

Dates: Wednesday, October 14, 21, 28 and November 4, 2026

Those who complete all four sessions are eligible for a certificate of completion. Flex credit will be available to faculty members.
