Our Stories, Our Legacy: Black History Through Artifacts and Elder's Voices (Talk with Elder Alyce Smith-Cooper)
A special storytelling event featuring elders who will share personal narratives and lived experiences connected to the cultural artifacts on display. Through guided storytelling and dialogue, speakers will explore the meaning of these artifacts and the role of oral history in preserving Black identity, cultural knowledge, and collective memory. Participants are invited to listen, reflect, ask questions, and engage in meaningful conversation.
