Kasra Askari

Kasra is a Molecular and Cell Biology Major at Mesa College. 

Here is what being a STEM Community Scholar means to him: 

Since joining the STEM Community Scholars I have gained an immeasurable amount of insight into STEM career fields that I most likely would not have come across otherwise. This includes fields as diverse as botany to chemical oceanography. Other than being introduced to the many STEM majors, another valuable insight gained by joining this program was being able to visit the work environments that scientists and engineers work in. Last but not least, one of the joys of being a part of this program was meeting my fellow students at Mesa. The friendships we have created based on our similar backgrounds and interests are to be forever treasured.
