Here is what being a STEM Community Scholar means to her:
The STEM Community Scholar Program has not only encouraged me to take a more active role in learning about opportunities for students interested in STEM majors, but also to share that information with the community and my peers. There are so many resources out there in the community for STEM students but only seldom do we actually get to see them. This is a phenomenal program which connects students to the real world outside the college setting and helps us to get one step closer to achieving our dreams in one of the most challenging fields in academia, STEM.
