ATTENTION TO ALL STUDENTS:

Beginning August 16th, 2021, the Student Services building will reopen and offer limited in-person, online, and phone services. In addition, the Evaluations Office will provide limited face-to-face services and will continue to provide full assistance through a remote format. Please note the Student Services building will be opened Monday - Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

It is recommended students contact us before visiting our office. For a complete list of remote/online services offered in Student Services, please visit the resource page HERE. You'll also find all department's contact information on this page.

We are here to help and appreciate your patience as we move forward with a phased-in approach back to campus.

For assistance, our remote operating hours are still 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. -  3:00 p.m. 

*Our department is experiencing a high volume of calls and emails, so please allow 1-3 business days for your call/email to be returned.

The San Diego Mesa College Evaluations Office engages with students and the campus community to assist and direct the processes related to the obtainment of degrees and certifications and to the campus commencement ceremony. 

Students are encouraged to utilize the resources on these pages to guide them through the various processes related to campus/district evaluation policies and procedures. If you need additional assistance please visit, email or call the campus Evaluations Office.


Application for Graduation Deadlines for 2020-2021

NOTE: Deadlines are final. If you are earning a Degree and/or Certificate, you are required to apply for graduation. "Graduation" is a multiple step process of developing an educational plan with a counselor, completing your course requirements, and submitting a Application for Graduation.  

2021-2022 Graduation Deadlines:

October 1, 2021  - Deadline to Apply for Graduation ONLY for students transferring to a CSU in Spring 2022 who are completing an Associate in Arts for Transfer (AA-T) or an Associate in Science for Transfer (AS-T). Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT).
 

November 15, 2021 - Deadline to Apply for Graduation and be a Fall 2021 graduate. Students filing after this date will be a Spring 2022 graduate.

February 15, 2022 - Deadline to Apply for Graduation for students transferring to a CSU in Fall 2022 who are completing an Associate in Arts for Transfer (AA-T) or an Associate in Science for Transfer (AS-T). Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT).

March 15, 2022 - Deadline to Apply for Graduation and ensure your name will be included in the commencement program. **Students filing after this date, but before April 30, 2022 will still be Spring 2022 graduates, but their name may not be in the Commencement Program.**

April 30, 2022 - Deadline to Apply for Graduation and be a Spring 2022 graduate. Students filing after this date will be a Summer 2022 graduate.

July 31, 2022 - Deadline to Apply for Graduation and be a Summer 2022 graduate.  Students filing after this date will be Fall 2022 graduates.
