Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Overview

The San Diego Mesa College Personal Protective Equipment Program (PPE) provides direction to employees on the proper selection and use of PPE as well as the limitations of the various protective devices. PPE are articles designed to provide supplemental protection to employees from the various physical and chemical hazards they may encounter working at the Mesa Campus. PPE includes, but is not limited to, hand protection, head protection, body protection, hearing protection, foot protection, and respiratory protection. This policy applies to all District employees, faculty, adjunct faculty, Students and visitors.
