For High school students taking mesa classes on their high school campus

To enroll in college classes offered on your high school campus students must:

  • Discuss course options and placement with their high school counselor
  • Apply through CCCApply, and obtain a student ID number.
  • Complete the Supplemental Application and have the appropriate sections filled out by High School personnel.
  • Meet the eligibility requirements.
  • Complete any paperwork required by your high school.
  • For students enrolling in classes on their High School campus, forms are typically submitted to San Diego Mesa College by the high school.

FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TAKING CLASSES ON MESA'S CAMPUS

To enroll in a college class on Mesa's campus as a high school student you will need to do the following:

  • For questions and help enrolling as a high school student in a class offered on Mesa's campus please contact sdmesaadmissions@sdccd.edu
  • Apply through CCCApply, and obtain a student ID number.
  • Meet the eligibility requirements
  • Complete the Supplemental Application. More information about the supplemental application process can be found on the SDCCD's High School Student Webpage Please see the section titled "Take a College Class at City, Mesa or Miramar College (Special Part-time)".
  • The SD Mesa Admissions team will manually enroll you for courses during open enrollment if there is space in the class.  If there is no space, they will add you to the watlist.  You can see admissions deadline, including when open-enrollment begins here (Links to an external site.).
  • High school students taking classes on Mesa's campus are responsible for the $22 student health fee and representation fee.
  • All fees must be paid before being able to purchase a parking pass for the semester.
  • It is recommended that you complete the San Diego Mesa College Online Orientation
