In realizing our goal to be the Leading College of Equity and Excellence and continuing in our commitment to serving our diverse student population, we will have we have a limited number of seats this unique year for employees to attend the 34th Annual National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in American Higher Education (NCORE) on May 31 - June 4, 2022, in Portland, Oregon. Please note, that you can complete the application and select the virtual option if you do not want to attend in person. 

The conference is a transformative event that is a place of inclusion, skill building, alliance, and knowledge on issues of race and ethnicity in higher education.Conference participants explore and experience issues of: Race, Ethnicity, Sovereignty, Transnationalism, Intersectional Identity, Social Justice, Immigration, and much more.  (We also encourage participants that are willing to subsidize the cost of the conference through department support and personal resources.)

Classified Professionals and Faculty interested in attending the conference must complete the online form by: November 21, 2021 

Apply for NCORE 

Those selected to attend the conference will be expected to share their learning experience and ideas to incorporate the lessons learned into our college equity and student success efforts.

Requests will be reviewed by a subgroup of the Conference and Travel Committee, and recommendations forwarded to the President for approval.
