
Fine & Performing Arts Committee (FPAC)
Purpose
The San Diego Mesa College Fine and Performing Arts Committee (FPAC) seeks to enrich the cultural, intellectual, and scholarly life of San Diego Mesa College students, faculty, staff, and visitors by providing access to high quality artistic and cultural experiences. The Committee is committed to advancing the College’s mission of equity excellence through the presentation of compelling art programs promoting cultural diversity, community engagement, and technical innovation. FPAC is housed with CDAIE.

Goals

Nurture the intellectual creativity that is vital to enriching the student experience at San Diego Mesa College.

Support and exhibit visual and performing artists, designers, and musicians with quality work that reflects a broad range of artistic technique, style, and media.

Promote innovative, campus-wide art programs that challenge audiences of diverse educational backgrounds and cultures with aesthetically and intellectually stimulating productions.

Foster students’ resolve to pursue artistic excellence and embrace their leadership role as creative professionals in a diverse and global community.
