Mesa College 72 Fifty Culinary Fall Dinner Series Returns
This week features aged meat & seafood boards, by reservation only
By Jennifer N. Kearns
San Diego – For the past month, 72 Fifty, the Mesa College on-campus restaurant, began offering their specialty Fall Dinner
Series. It’s that time of year. Yes, that’s right. Aged Beef and Seafood boards are
back but limited! The beef is ready.
Culinary students have three options for Wednesday and Thursday night’s menu. Perfectly
aged Short loin (Porterhouse, T-bone, NY) and Ribeye. The double bone-in is intended
for 4 people and the single is 1-2 depending on the size. The Tomahawks are priced
by size. You will need to email me to reserve any specific cut, age and size. Don’t
take a chance, make the reservation and reserve your cut.
The boards are all on a reservation basis. We have a limited amount, first come first
serve. 72 Fifty will have a few options for walk-ins. Please note, online ordering will not
be available for this menu. Take out is available. However, you will need to come
into the restaurant or make the order via a reservation.
Send all requests and inquiries to twhitfie@sdccd.edu subject titled “Tableboard reservation.”
Mesa College culinary students will be serving up different menus and delicacies each
Wednesday and Thursday evening from 4:15pm-6:45pm (last seating is at 6:30pm) through October 2023. Fall dinners are open to the public; groups and families are
welcome. Reservations are not required, but recommended for groups and during several
specialty menus evenings, as some evenings do sell out. Dinners are available for
dine-in or take-out.
