The Global Awareness Committee is a participatory governance committee at San Diego Mesa College that accepts applications from faculty interested in leading study abroad programs. Proposals are being accepted on an on-going basis for pilot-programs abroad, provided that faculty are experienced international travelers and have led a group abroad in the past.
The committee meets on the third Friday of every month in I4-207 from 11:00-1:00 to review applications.
The meeting schedule for 2013-2014 is as follows: Sep.20; Oct.18; Nov.15; Jan.17; Feb.21; Mar.21; Apr.18.
